Description
The goalie mask I designed for my brother a few years ago met an honorable death in the heat of battle heh. So he asked me if I could design him a new one. The previous mask had referenced our multicultural background, including a winding Chinese dragon on each side. I thought I'd take that idea a little further, inspired by Andy Moog's mask which was one of my favorites when I was a kid.
While I liked the initial design, when I showed it to my friend (), she said that it was reading more Meso-American than Chinese. So I went back to the drawing board and was much happier with the result. Once I finished the design, it was sent to Don McClelland at www.macmasks.com. As you can see, he did an awesome job with airbrushing the design onto the mask. I couldn't be more pleased with the final product.
